What was the highlight of Coco Bella Hotel

Many shortcomings but you are paying for the location.

This is a busy location, right in the middle of everything. If you're looking for a quiet room this is not it, as there is loud music till all hours coming from the beach bars. We liked the location as it was close to everything but overpriced for the quality as seems to be the way on Koh Phi Phi due to its popularity. We were assisted with our luggage from the pier which was greatly appreciated.

The bungalow room is so tiny there was nowhere to put our luggage, the bathroom is also very tiny and nowhere to put anything and the lighting was so inadequate in the entire room and bathroom. No shower screen, just a curtain meant the floor was always wet. The aircon unit made a really annoying noise, and the noise from the beach bars was very loud till after 2am. A simple rack to hang wet towels on outside would save the inconvenience of draping them anywhere you can outside. A very basic place to sleep for a couple of days to experience the island which is extremely busy for the size of it. If you were staying longer I would suggest choosing a place that was not in this area.

You can find better for this price.

The pool is quite nice and breakfast was alright. Location wise it's nice because it's relatively center and close to the beach which is an issue at night due to nearby clubs.

Don't book the bungalows. They are small, old and not very well maintained. At night they are almost shaking from the base coming from nearby clubs. The staff at the reception doesn't speak English very well except for the standard check in/out procedure. The bed is extremely hard, make it even more difficult to sleep given the noises.

Its was ok for 3 nights stay

Great location, 1 minute walk to the beach and all the main bars. 8 minutes walk from the pier

The room is really small so it suitable for very short stay. We took the bungalow so maybe try the regular room

Central location and amazing pool

I loved the pool, it is located when the sun hits the ground so the pool is always warm, and you can also swim after it gets dark. The lactation is amazing, very central and 5 minutes from the beach.

The bathroom is a lil bit old and small. The lady at the reception is not sitting there all the time, so it is sometimes empty and you need to wait a few minutes for someone to come. Moreover, there aren’t enough seats to sit near the pool.

Avoid if possible

Quite nice staff, small, convinient place, with laundry services downstairs.

However, beds and pillows were made of stone. A/C stopps working after 22PM, when its needed the most, during the night and turns back on early morning.

Great location, excellent facilities, big pool and very helpful staff.

Rooms were spacious and a lovely pool. Air conditioning is great. Have a laundry service to put them on yourself but there is an attendant who will keep an eye on them for you and put them in dryer so when you return all is done and packed up for you. The staff are lovely, the bell boy helped us with all our luggage to the pier and made sure we knew where to go.

Beds are a little hard and pillows a bit too big so made it hard to sleep.

Great swimming pool, comfy beds, nice balcony, close to everything , shops, restaurants

Toilets don't flushing, we asked to repair and after that it flushed the same. But maybe it's the same problem everywhere on the island. All toilets were the same when we tried somewhere else. Air conditioner takes long time to start cooling

There is no lift and the water pressure in the shower is not good. As we got a pretty good deal, this did not bother me, but if I was paying high season rates, I would be a little disappointed.

Pool was nice, close to beach and hotel staff was in the port to meet us and take to the hotel (we would have not found it ourselves as there are so many narrow, busy streets).

Beds were really uncomfortable, like sleeping on a table. A lot of noise until 2am.

There is no elevator, if you have heavy luggage it can be cumbersome to carry your stuff. Also, low quality wifi, but that is to be expected in an island.

Avoid rooms from B01 to B08 if you travel with children as they are fully exposed to pub, club and pedestrian path (specially B108. No soundproof. Good if you come for party and want to sleep after 2:00 AM Shower debit is very low for 125euros per night?! Beds are too hard. I do not recommend

Nice bungalow

Very nice bungalow. I really like this hotel , with bungalows and flowers around. The staff is friendly . They arranged our room very nice for a special occasion, we really appreciate this. The pool is also very nice. The hotel is close to the beach and to many restaurants and shops. The breakfast was good.

Location was good if you like to be near everything.

Location was good if you like to be near everything. We don’t had any complaint about the music playing or other noise. Room looks cute. Breakfast was good better than expected. Our airconditioning wasn’t working good, I told them that and they fixed it immediately. The staf was verry nice and polite, they picked and dropped us of at the pier.

The bathroom smelled really bad from time to time. I think this is a big problem that needs to be because I won’t go here again because of this.

Perfect location

The location is amazing, In the heart of Phi Phi, near everything. The swimming pool was also really good. I can say that the breakfast was good too.

The water that comes from the toilet was smelling really bad. The shower pressure was weak. If they fix this 2 things would be perfect and I would stay again. By the price payed, it can’t happen.

What was the highlight of Coco Bella Hotel

I liked the pool with the jacuzzi;

I liked the pool with the jacuzzi; the member of staff maintaining the pool was happy to activate the jacuzzi when we needed it. Also the hotel very close to the main beach of the town at the west side.

The bathroom had an open window as a ventilation connecting to the hotel corridor. Any sound coming from the bathroom or the bedroom (for obvious reasons) could easily be heard of by passers by outside the room; that was made worse by the fact that the bathroom door had sort of blinds without window and so any noise coming from the bathroom (for obvious reasons) or smells (for the same reasons) could travel through that door in the bedroom making a romantic holiday of two an awkward experience. The bathroom had a shower head without any sort of shower screen spreading the water over the toilet seat & the toilet paper which was right where the water from the shower head was falling. The floor had no proper inclination and so the whole small bathroom was a mess after just one shower. Obviously no towel could limit these waters and so water would easily spread with the feet into the bedroom. The room was advertised as Superior but there was nothing Superior about it. It would most suitably be described as a single bedroom with a King size bed in it making it very small for even two luggage to be closed. The room was right next to the swimming pool but the doors have no insulation. At the breakfast area there was a dead cockroach laying on the floor although that may be a good sign that pest control works. The reception staff some of them happy to help sometimes just there to help. The hotel reception is a security hazard! Not attended by staff at all times; no real door with sound alert for anyone coming in & when guests we had to leave the door key at the reception, we had to leave it in an open box at the front of the reception easily accessible by any passers by to take any keys and access the rooms. Few times when we returned to the hotel we found nobody at the reception and we could have easily taken any key.

Pool and location are great.

Pool and location are great. The stuff were really friendly and they even brought our luggage from and to the pier.

The bungalow was pretty tiny and the beds were way too firm at least for us. One morning some maintenance guys were fixing the bungalow next to ours at 8am and woke us up. In all fairness the lady at the reception yelled at them after complaining.

Comfortable bed, nice pool, close to the beach and shops/restaurants. Nice breakfast and coffee for breakfasts.

The rooms in the building adjacent to the street are very loud. You cannot sleep till 4 am when the nearby clubs close. I must admit that the staff were very nice and they gave us another, quieter room when complained. The breakfast is nice and there's a selection of Thai and western dishes, but after 9 a lot of things are cold.
